The AZ Top Fuel Group in conjunction with Swag Racing has announced a joint partnership to put on the 2nd annual Arizona vs. California Top Fuel Shootout at Dome Valley Raceway in Wellton, AZ on January 22 and 23, 2011. This event will see some of the very best sand drag racers in the Southwest U.S. face off on one of ...the premier race tracks in the country.
Headlining the show will be the ground pounding, Nitromethane-burning Top Fuel dragsters. A full field is expected to head to Dome Valley making it one of the most prestigious events all season long. As an added bonus, a new class will make its debut at Dome Valley Raceway. The Pro Outlaw FE category, a heads-up class consisting of only front engine vehicles will face off on the west coast for the first time. This class has been a huge hit in the Midwest , and looks to be a great success at this Shootout. Beyond these two classes will be a full complement of Heads-Up & Bracket classes including; Top Alcohol, Fast Fours, Super Eliminator, Top Eliminator, Pro 1-3, Pro Sport, Sportsman Car & Bike, and Juniors. More information will be released in the coming months, but be sure to mark your calendar now for January 22 & 23, 2011.
